Honestly Arkansas is lucky they aren’t down by more. Arkansas is having to work for every basket and Oral Roberts is getting open looks almost every time down the court

Obanor and Abmas finally having quiet nights but the supporting cast for ORU is actually showing up for once. Impressive to see ORU winning without their top 2 playing super well.
More impressive is seeing ORU, the worst defensive team in the tournament (still, even after winning two games) decide to play defense all of a sudden. They held OSU to .92 PPP, Florida to 1.08 PPP, and Arkansas currently has 24 points on 34.6% from the floor and 16.7% from 3.

what a killer end to the half for ORU. They could have been up a dozen. Have to feel okay if you’re Arkansas

I’m rooting for ORU for no particular reason, but that was a fun end to the first half.
Seriously. I can’t even count the amount of times an Arkansas player brought the ball up the court, drove to the bucket without a single pass, got cut off like 12-15 feet from the bucket, and just hoisted up a contested mid-range with 20ish seconds left on the shot clock. Such terrible offense.

Even if it’s “in your range,” not sure pulling up from half court with 26 seconds on the shot clock is the play especially when momentum is on your side and Arkansas is on their heels a bit.
