I heard that Dot had reported X wouldn’t be accompanying the team to NYC, but I don’t KNOW that Dot reported any such thing. I have not SEEN anything from Dot indicating he reported that.

Dot is one of my “go to” posters on anything regarding Michigan Basketball. I will continue to rely on information I glean from anything that comes from Dot.

If Dot misspoke on this, and I don’t know that he did, I will continue to go to him as a reliable source!

This is GOOD NEWS, folks. Let’s be happy X is back as the leader of this team!

I say silverblue contributes a dollar to umhoops for every time he typed Dot in that post.

Gladly! I’m just excited that X has paid his penance and is back with the team. Well, actually, he’s paid his public penance, I’m pretty sure he’ll be getting in a LOT better shape over the next week or so!

Totally agree! His posts (especially the long ones) are the ones I enjoy the most. He’s the person I want to be when I’m watching Michigan, especially in hard times.

That is true! And I’m superstitious as can be! Oh, the stories that could be told! They’re actually legendary within my family…BUT, when it’s over, it’s over. But, YES, I do get frustrated, too. I might even yell at a player…but only in the privacy of my own “man cave!”

Oh, and my wife is a Sparty! She’s REALLY upset with me today! I told her Sparty couldn’t lose to Wiscy today if they tried! So, of course, according to her, I JINXED them! She’s making Guacamole and we’re drinking wine…but not together! AND, well, I don’t know if I’m getting any Guac!

EDIT: Oh, and could a couple of you guys “like” jivan’s comment above?!? Please. You don’t have to agree with what he said, I just want him to get a Nice Reply Badge! Come on, help me out and get my buddy a badge, will ya!

OK, so I was a WILD man today. A lot of loud noises coming from the “man cave.” Several BS’s only with the words. And I mean LOUD! A couple of loud F words. Yep, even little old silverblue! Gosh I hope my granddaughter couldn’t hear me! Those were primarily directed at the officials, a couple of charges called against us that I didn’t agree with, an offensive foul on X where the Rutgers player grabbed his arm and, when X swatted it away, X was called for the foul! And of course the totally incorrect Rutgers possession when the ball CLEARLY went off the Rutgers player with, what, 30 some seconds to play. Talk about indisputable evidence…THAT was pretty indisputable to me!

There were a couple of loud noises, too, when THREE times we had sloppy passes and/or guys didn’t come to meet the ball. BUT a lot, a LOT of very loud YES!!! sounds and some loud excited growls, too! So, yes, I get tense, and sometimes I get loud, but I ALWAYS love our guys and will cheer for them endlessly and tirelessly. But I am kinda worn out right now! Great game! Go Blue!!!
