His handling of Caris’ injury this year has to be up there as well. Also threw players under the bus on a few occasions this year.
I don’t know what happened with teams, but it seemed like everybody was struggling with them in the tournament this year.

Can you elaborate on the handling of the injury? Based on everything I read, Caris and his family didn’t want to make the specific diagnosis public. And the medical staff really did think it would heal on its own and that he could play when he was pain-free. Is that not accurate?
I think everyone can agree, it would’ve been best handled by JB simply saying ‘Caris is out indefinitely’ and just shut down any talks of injury. Instead we weathered weeks of ‘he’s close’, ‘we’ll put him through a full practice’, ‘strop projecting’…just wasn’t a very good look IMO.
