Buckeyes smoked Marquette at Marquette today for a 52-35 win.
Not that often you see a blowout like that when the winning team only mustered .83 points per trip. Marquette went 13 minutes without a field goal in the second half. Craft-Scott defensive backcourt combination is going to be a load for everyone to deal with.
Still want to see if the Buckeyes can score though…
Big East teams struggle to score but I do agree that OSU has a great defense.
The question with them and us is can they score more than 60? They won’t hold us below that threshold.

Yep. They need scorers. They probably have some time to develop them but I suspect that will be their Achilles heel all season.
osu defense is good, but marquette was missing tons of open shots.
Marquette was the most overrated team coming into this season. The loss of Vander Blue is way too big for that problem for them to be a top 25 team. I guarantee they do not finish the season in the top 25.
Ohio St.'s defense is elite, though.
