Time to move on from Matthews, IMO. Delighted to have him back, but we’ve got quality kids coming in and upperclassmen ready for more minutes. Guys like Castleton and Johns could end up getting less minutes than they are ready for. The future’s bright, and hopefully features better distance shooting too.

I felt like Matthews locked Culver and he still finished with 22 points and 4 assists

He knows he wants to be a pro basketball player. Even if he doesn’t make the NBA (which personally I actually do think he has a shot) staying an extra year in college isn’t going to improve his prospects

I have a feeling NBA GMs are very intrigued by his talent… but he’s just so all over the place at this point that I have to agree with you. MAYBE bottom of 2nd round but probably not
