Yeah, I forgot about DJ. The original post has been updated.

Minor quibble, Caris will make 16 next year

Poole’s back in the NBA, at least short term. He’s actually done quite a bit better than before and is 33% from the field in January (up from 25% before) in three games.

Poole scoreless in 15 min. tonight.

I’m still surprised a contending team hasn’t added Jamal Crawford. He scored 51 points in an NBA game just 9 months ago.

I think it’s best to remember that salaries aren’t really based on contribution or minutes - Walton and Burke’s salaries aren’t indicative of them carrying the same weight, but that Burke’s production is nearly replaceable by someone a team could pickup for free (like Walton was).

I’m not saying I agree with that, but I think Burke has established that he’s no better than a lower tier backup PG or Cadillac third PG - IE often closer to the G League than the rotation.

Really two of my favorite players!

Disagree. He’s gotten a lot better and provides quite a bit off the bench. While not a perfect metric by any stretch of the imagination, his PER is above average.

I’m also not sure what in the world that ā€œBurke is closer to the G-League than the rotationā€ comment means. He’s literally in the rotation averaging 14.6 mpg lol.

He’s sat in 1/3 of their games, and has battled Neto for a spot in the rotation all year.

Duncan…Caris…

Looks like Poole might be figuring it out. Last two games he’s averaged 15 points on 43% shooting and 44% from three

Can’t heart that tweet enough. May have to create new Twitter accounts to keep hearting it.
