Klay Thompson was a really good defender. He consistently was responsible for guarding the other team’s best scorer. I think it’s undervalued how much they miss him in that aspect.

Jordan Poole is hilarious to watch as an NBA player. There’s all the tantalizing skills that made him exciting in college. He’s capable of rattling off 3 straight threes in a few minutes like he did tonight. He still loves that nonsensical jab step that gets him nowhere. He takes (and makes) (and misses) tough shots. And he gets crossed badly at least once a game, tonight by Jahlil Okafor

Love JP’s potential and he will get better. Last night GRIII +30 with 12 Points overs 31 minutes JP -21 with 13 points in 26 minutes. He’ll learn.

Nice article here about JP’s confidence but IMO he was extremely rattled by Beilein last year and that affected him more than he’d want to admit now in Golden State. Still love the kid and wish the best for him but last year was flat-out tough to watch at times on a personal level

Duncan Robinson with 7 threes and a team high 23 points tonight, leading the Heat to victory over Harden and Westbrook. Also had a game high 35 minutes.
If he keeps this up he might be the second best UM basketball player in the league I would think.
