Duncan Robinson with 17 points in 15 minutes.

He looks like he may begin the season on the Heat starting 5.

He wasn’t even starting on Michigan two years ago.

Livin the dream, baby!

Iggy…headed to the G league?

I don’t even think Iggy played 10 minutes in the preseason - could be wrong though.

How are you going to see if a guy can give you anything if you don’t even play him in the preseason. We saw Poole get a lot of run with an outstanding Warriors team, and Iggy can’t even get preseason minutes on the Knicks. SMH.

This statement caught my eye in the piece:

“Especially for Brazdeikis, the transition will take some time as he is used to having plays run for him as one of the top options of an offense.”

Iggy is not 19 Fizdale. He’ll be 21 in three months.

Glad he got some guaranteed money initially.

A man who averaged three season of a triple double and has been a all star and all nba player has the worse contract? Fans just hate to hate.

The Knicks are a train wreck, nobody wants to play there. Good luck to Iggy because I don’t see any development on that team.

I figured the funeral notices for RJ Barrett were premature. Guy looked great the couple of times I watched him with Duke.

GR III…starting role!

Crazy. Happy for him. Is GSW that short on players though? GRIII was scrapping for minutes on the Pistons last year

They’re insanely short on wing’s… other options at that position are Alec Burks/Poole/Jacob Evans

Aka Robinson wins by default because he’s the only one who even looks the part of an NBA wing

Iggy was phenomenal in the summer league and has awesome potential. 6’8” and can shoot well and dribble well. Just needs to put it together, and figure out how to play roles at times as opposed to being the man, which will take a little time. In a couple years he could be a phenomenal NBA player.

He’s looked pretty good though, at least in the pre-season. Seemed to be on his way to doing things in Milwaukee, until the ankle issue set him back. I hope he can stay healthy and build on what he;s been doing lately. Seems like he will be given ample opportunity, which he hasn’t had in a while.

The chances of Iggy “becoming a phenomenal NBA player” are …zero.

That’s actually pretty funny that Fizdale called Iggy 19 years old. He must assume every rookie is 19. The GLeague for Iggy will be good. The Knicks suck but I think their management thinks they are playoff contenders.

Depends on the definition of phenomenal. I guess what I mean to say is that relative to a second round pick, and relative to his situation right now, I can see him down the road being a 15 ppg guy if he gets it together. He has a lot of tools, and the combination of size and tools he has is pretty nice. Sure “phenomenal” is too strong, but if he was putting up 15 ppg and passing/rebounding/shooting well, that would be pretty nice, and I can see it.
