I don’t have an issue with Wagner or Doncic. If I were Magic coach I’d have Mo Wagner start and guard Doncic next time they meet. Show him who you are Mo Wagner! I think it would be a great move no matter what Doncic does; just to show Doncic and the Mavs Wagner and Orlando aren’t intimidated. Maybe Wagner gets humbled but that wouldn’t be all bad either.

He gets under your skin. Here, though, he clearly made an effort to get around DeRozan’s front side rather than just going from behind and doing something more dangerous.

Yeah I don’t think Moe did anything wrong here. The foul was fine, he shouldn’t have gotten in DeRozan’s face necessarily but he’s not the one putting hands on the other person. The best part of the video has to be the complete obliviousness of the announcer as to which Wagner it is.

Yeah, the announcer tries to get on his high horse about the situation but loses all credibility with how clueless he was. Franz wasn’t even on the court it seems.
I didn’t think Moe did anything wrong - prevented the fast break and started walking away after the foul. DeRozan is the one who escalated it by talking and then putting a hand on Moe. Shut up announcer…you’re clueless.

I was just thinking before I read this that when I check Magic box scores every time I look Franz scored over 20 pts. It’s like looking at the M womens box scores every win is by around 20pts with a Naz dbl-dbl!

I am so excited that Franz is tearing it up this year. I’m almost as excited that Moe has found a role on that team. His minutes still vary a lot and he alternates good games with bad, but he’s settled into a solid bench option.
Meanwhile in that same game, THJ didn’t play due to injury and Burke had a 4-trillion for the Mavs.
