Great game for LeVert so far! Sucks that he’s not a starter, but 100% the thing to do when Kyrie and Durant are in the starting lineup.

Yes. He was supposed to be a tryout for the Lakers. Non guaranteed obviously. I didn’t really expect it to work out but thought he might’ve gotten some court time preseason

Caris sure did a LOT in his 25 minutes (only shared the floor with KD and KI for 4 minutes) - 20 points, 19 shots, 9 boards, 5 dimes. I’m trying to figure out if anyone else got to touch the ball other than to shoot the 5 assists.

I missed that Nikki Buckets was waived by the Bucks.

It still baffles me that he’s not a good rotation guy in the NBA.

Rough waiver cycle for our Wolverines. If I have been tracking these posts, Stauskas, Walton, Simpson, Teske, and Matthews were all cut.

So Levert, Robinson, Burke, Wagner, Iggy, GR3, Wilson, and Poole are left? Is Crawford still giving it a go? Am I missing anyone?

I think this is make or break for Wilson and close for Poole. Both will be in their rotation to start. Wilson faces a contract decision after this year, so if he doesn’t hang I think he’s close to done in the NBA. Poole is close, but has a little more time. Burke has pulled himself back from the edge after the bubble. Now he needs to retain the level of commitment that the bubble forced on him (things like staying rested and being fit have been his struggle, to put it kindly).

None of these are especially surprising though right? Among guys who got cut, I’d really only expect Walton to maybe hang on to the end of an NBA bench. Hopefully Matthews can get there too but he’ll have to start proving that outside the NBA.

I thought Walton may have had a shot to stick at the end of a bench. But yeah… Can’t believe I forgot THJ - perhaps the wealthiest basketball alum in terms of NBA contracts.

Agree with Wilson…his future is up in the air after this season. I think Poole sticks around for a while though. He didn’t really have a good season, but he played a lot. With Klay out again this season I think he will get a chance.

I think Wilson can latch on with another team. He’s still fairly young and has had some good moments when given minutes. The Bucks just aren’t a team with a long leash, since they have a lot of depth up front.
