Watching M vs MSU, 4 vs 9, March 3 2013 start of second half. Michigan starting Jordan Morgan flanked by Tim Hardaway Jr, Trey Burke, Glenn Robinson III, and Caris LeVert. Helluva team right there.
Not sure why LeVert starting second half over Stauskas
Coach Beilein’s genius on display. Constantly putting Nix in one on one situations on the perimeter to devastating results. Even McGary blowing by Nix 18 feet from the basket

Pretty sure that Stauskas took a blow to the eye/nose very early in that game and never returned. He only played four minutes according to the box score.
Found this in the game recap:
" Michigan freshman Nik Stauskas played only four minutes – he didn’t return after leaving with a cut over his left eye after a scramble for a rebound early in the game."

This is correct. Nik took an inadvertent shot to the eye within the first five minutes and was bleeding quite a bit in the immediate aftermath.

Feels like he’ll get a three or four year deal with an AAV somewhere between what Joe Harris got ($8MM/yr) and what Joe Ingles got ($13MM/yr) depending on if he adds anything else to his game between now and hitting free agency in the summer of 2021. Based on the value of shooting in today’s game, I’ll venture a WAG of 4y, $48M.

I hadn’t realized this or seen anyone here mention it, but apparently Trey had agreed to play for the Ohio State TBT team
Michigan’s had the hardest time putting a TBT team together. The closest they came was a couple of years ago with Stu, Horford (I think), and Donnal, along with some OSU players and a couple of other B1G guys.
