Don’t think they’ll host but that win puts Michigan in the 2 seed for the region they go to, I imagine.

Beat Kentucky!
Scott Bell mentioned this was the the best weekend in women’s sports in quite a while and he’s right! W Lax and W Tennis in quarterfinals of the NCAA tournament and softball won the big ten tournament. Fun weekend in Ann Arbor.

And the baseball team took 2 of 3 vs. Purdue. They’re in a 3-way tie for the 3rd best record in the B1G standings at 13-8.

NIL is great! 
A great day for Michigan Softball! After losing by a run to Kentucky in the bottom of the 7th yesterday, they get a walk-off HR from Maddie Erickson to beat University of Northern Colorado 4-2 in Game 1 and then get two 2-run HR’s against Kentucky to win 4-2.
They’ll play the host team Oklahoma State tomorrow at 3pm. They’ll need to beat them twice but advancing to Sunday is a big accomplishment.
The first of the two HRs was hit by catcher Lilly Vallimont, who had a puffed up right forearm after taking a foul ball off of it in the 1st inning. It looked pretty bad but she gutted it out. Hopefully, some ice can help her out tonight.

The Cowgirls pitcher was on fire after giving up a run in the 1st.
It was still an incredible bounce-back season.
I don’t know whether Keke Tholl is going to come back for a 5th year or not. If so, they will be pretty loaded. Even if not, the future looks pretty bright.
