Ruling confirmed! Iowa tried to score a run from first on a two-out double. The ball was bobbled in left but recovered and a perfect relay and throw to the plate nailed the Iowa runner with only inches to spare.

Michigan was on the other side of a great defensive play at the plate. They nearly scored to tie the game but a great throw by Penn State’s right fielder kept them down 3-2.
They are heading to the top of the 8th right now, so they have 6 more outs to get something done.
