Jaylen Brown - Will Likely Use OV for UM

Brown Crystal Ball is switching a bit. As before, take with a heap of salt.

Jaylen Brown's Crystal Ball Predictions

Those crystal balls keep going in favor of Michigan by the minute it seems… Now got the 7 last votes…

Brian Snow maintains thinking its UM/UK, Webb thinks Michigan in the final group and more cuts to come

I’m sure that’s all true. I did enjoy seeing a Kansas one in there, but yeah…nobody really knows anything.

Self seems to be an expert at convincing athletic one-and-done wings to come to Lawrence, lose in the sweet sixteen, and then declare for the draft within 5 minutes. There are some uncanny similarities between Wiggins’ recruitment and Brown’s. That said, Brown seems to be less cynical about the prospect of playing and developing in college than the Wiggins and Oubres of the world, and that would seem to favour U-M.

This has to be one of the strangest recruitments of such a top prospect in memory.

Looks like the Georgia schools are gone too.

Things are moving fast all of a sudden. Would be cool if Jaylen sticks to his April timeframe. If he doesn’t come, I really hope we know that before Williams visits.

What would really suck is if he eliminated KU, UK, and Cal, and then went to UNC.

That’s what seems to stand out to me about this. Say what you will about the Crystal Ball, but for some reason now we are getting reports of what his camp is thinking? I must channel my inner Vulcan super hard this week.

Right. Sure they’re guessing, but why 7 guesses in 3 days all to the same school, all of a sudden, from insiders from various schools including Duke, Kansas and OSU?

  • Thoughts that I have instead of working on a Monday…

Make that 9 in 3 days now.

It would be great to get him but I try and ignore the crystal ball thing. The ones that picked Brown for UCLA were off. Since Brown seems to say very little I can’t really get excited about nothing more than a guess. I mean Kam Chatman had very crystal ball predictions to Michigan than Brown.

How much of the prediction swing toward U-M would you attribute to folks reading into this morning’s announcement re: Hatch?

And add UNC to the list of finalists with an insider calling it for Michigan.

hmm being hinted that another school may also be elimated… not named michigan

???

Rumor has it that the academic scandal at UNC was a factor in Ingram going to Duke. You listening Jaylen?? :stuck_out_tongue:

I have my own guess, but that other school hasn’t been name dropped yet.

I have to agree with Matt on this one that Ingram not going to UK probably hurts Michigan the most out of any recent news.
