Jaylen Brown - Will Likely Use OV for UM

It's not at all about being nice, it's about culture. You think Harbaugh is promising any entitlements to anyone, top recruit or not?

Not even remotely comparable.

And then there is this…like I said, if Hatch has to go on medical, so be it.

U-M coaches have told recruits that even with LeVert's return, the roster will have room for at least one addition. http://t.co/6IkPOkW8m8

I don’t think Jaylen Brown is worrying about a starting spot.

MattD, how to you post tweets like that?

LOL! I’ve been wondering the same thing.

When you copy the embed, there is an option to ‘include media’…just check the tick box for that option.

That’s a great piece of info–the Quinn tweet. Shores up a lot of speculation.

Hail - you got a bit trigger happy! Feels good that Caris is back!

Yes, I do. This is the same guy that makes gestures to the girlfriends of recruits. He understands that this here is a business.............and I love it. Just win baby! UM football will be elite within 2-3 years, you can count on that.

I vehemently disagree (and I think it’s comparable). But I won’t rabbit hole.

Let’s just say I agree with Dylan that JB doesn’t even have to go there.

Matt, I don’t mean including the pictures. I mean embedding in general. All I get is what you see above.

The last one worked! I just deleted it because it seemed like old news

I think the first domino to the Brown recruitment will occur Monday. Have to hope Ingram heads to UK. If Ingram picks Duke, they could very well go back to back with that type of talent coming in.

Oh yeah, I just saw that Thornton reclassified for 2015 and is going to Duke (is it old news?? may have missed this). They will have a loaded class, for sure!

– just saw the other thread. Apparently not that old!

Just happened today.

There’s no way Harbaugh is promising anyone anything. That’s 100% contrary to what he stands for.

This is what you tell Brown, or anyone like him: “We believe you are easily one of our most talented players, and if you come in and work hard, we’re confident you’ll win a starting job.”

I never said JH promised anyone, anything. But the notion of this ‘culture’ is not something I buy. You do what you have to do to get recruiting results provided its within the confines of the rules.

And you add that you’ve started and had great success with freshman and young players in the past, like Trey, Timmy, Nik, GRIII, Mitch, Walton, etc.

so if starting 5 were walton levert brown irvin doyle and spike is out... who is primary back up PG? Caris? MAAR? Can Brown be point forward?

also who gets the late shot clock touches? is it even? crazy to think about a healthy walton, levert, emerging zak and JB… pick your poison

MAAR would definitely be the best bet at backup PG, just based on recent history. I actually think he fits better there than as a SG (since his shot is just not that good).

I think you make a fair point. I honestly don’t expect everyone to stay healthy the whole year. Call me pessimistic, but the odds are against us (unless we view it as “all the bad luck we could have had is now passed”). So that’s why Jaylen Brown to Michigan would secure we wouldn’t go from top 10-30 to bubble team in case of injuries.

MAAR better then Spike??? What logic is that? He wont be out
