things at texas must really be weird… the whole interviewing yak thing, smart playing around till 11th hour to make a push. heard undertones that the texas big players have grown sour on shaka… not sure if this is their way of pushing him out and try to sign beard? strange timing and methods if so, especially if beard is a TT guy given how much time he’s spent there
I’m very interested to know what is going down behind the scenes right now.
This changes in 3, 2, 1…
Maybe she is referring to today’s baseball game
Or perhaps she accidentally left off the ‘s’ at the end as she is still so excited about the Blues going to the Stanley Cup
That would be a Shock-A but not very Smart to take that bet.
This is from Juwan’s wife, and probably the closest thing to affirmation one could hope for outside of the official announcement. I am itching to hear some of the details now!
Thank you Rothstein, now let me know when your sources tell you when Michigan is playing Norfolk St.
Not sure about the wearing out welcome stuff… but I would guess the Peruball stuff is true since the article had quotes from attendees and Harbaugh has promptly stopped running Peruball at his camps
Don’t let Rothstein stop us from tweeting our It’s Happening gifs!
Not “far” enough to keep his wife and Coach Simpson from tweeting about it
When do we put the banners back where they belong?
Could be wrong, but one thing I think Juwan is going to have to be good at–the earlier the better–is drawing careful lines around the program and not letting it be a three-ring circus. I have always enjoyed Jalen, for example, but he is something of a provocateur. Juwan is going to need to draw careful boundaries. A lot of the interest in the program is going to be malign, and consist of people hunting for–and blowing up media outlets–with improprieties. Thankfully, as Jalen says, Juwan was the grownup at the table from the start. But this is one of the areas where a truly sharp Warde should be earning his spurs from jump.
That’s OK. Maybe Warde can bring on Jay Williams as an assistant AD in charge of culture.
