Could this team just go all in on Jett and Hunter actions and scheme up 30 shots a game for both? Liddell/Branham style?

Are they scheming up stuff for other guys? It just becomes harder and harder to get both guys the ball when the other 3 guys on the court either won’t shoot or won’t make open threes.

By all accounts, he does the least. And it becomes pretty clear when you think about the fact that he’s an assistant coach without a position he’s responsible for or a “side of the ball” he’s credited for. I’m guessing no one in the program expected he would still be here at this point.

Pretty much the only reason I don’t fully hate it since it seems like everyone else is walking around like zombies. Don’t generally mind celebrating, but time and place.

But he is going to get absolutely roasted on the road for it.

I think the celebrating is a huge part of who Hunter is and what makes him go. Gotta be a part of his game and he has to be himself.

The bench really struggled to generate any reasonably good shots but they definitely played hard.

I’m not saying they are or are not. But if Kobe and JL are just gonna get left wide open every play unguarded and can’t make them pay, they may have to get creative on scheming to avoid that being the end result. Or I guess “just keep shooting” is the alternative and hoping they go in.

Also for the record by “scheming”, I mean come up with literally anything. You could tell me that means a Baker, Tschetter, someone else, HD, Jett lineup to force feed shooting/spacing and I’d buy it. Idk what to do with this team right now.

Which tells you how important simply giving effort is on defense. And how little some of the starters are really giving.

I dont think many of the starters deserved that much run. At least try and mix Baker and Dug in there towards the end of the half. We were getting nothing from JL or TW

Bufkin - Llewelyn each hit a three. That moves the needle to 3-31 on the season.

Has Michigan tried a 4 guard rotation, subbing out T Will for Baker? I do not see T Will being such a great defender that it would be that great of loss on D, and Baker is probably going to be a far better shooter with a reasonable sample size.

I definitely saw some huge blown assignments. Does the energy boost make up for that? Not against a good team I don’t think

TWill hasn’t done enough wrong to merit benching. I would play Baker as a guard
