Just wanted to jump in at halftime and say that I really appreciate the way this game is being called. Guys are not being allowed to defend with their hands (post defence is not allowed to resemble offensive line play) and illegal screens are being called (all illegal screen calls were easy calls, IMO). It’s like November officiating, where points of emphasis are actually emphasized. It looks like basketball. I’m sure the officials are getting killed in this thread, though.
All time nightmare for me is I’m dangling off the side of a cliff and only Brandon Johns can rescue me.
No one with that athleticism and that sweet a FT stroke doesn’t have it within him to be an effective offensive player
If there was one guy on this team I would lock in a room with a hypnotherapist
Not a hard call
I thought we agreed this was a safe space?
Mine isn’t so much football as it is a desire to blow MSU out to 2017 at home levels. After the Illinois game I have a lot of basketball angst to get out haha
His game is really really weird. Has some unique oddities. Replacing 17 footers with threes has made a huge difference this year though.
Also the 2019 bball games…
There’s still a half left
I agree with the hand checking, but I think Michigan bigs get victimized by phantom moving screen calls, this game not withstanding. It might not be a fair comparison, but if you watch the NBA, players take a lot worse punishment coming off screens that what’s been called so far today.
Yeah, not particularly comfortable when he’s going to the rim.
Oh my god MOE!
Did they just show Moe’s face for a highlight of Franz? Way to go ESPN
Hoped someone else saw that
I hope that means we’re going to the title game, espn.
Just reminding myself that I’d really prefer that Michigan pound Sparty.
How many times has MSU fouled on a potential turnover?
The refs are still here
lol both announcers desperately rooting for MSU
Really needed that Franz
This is exceptional trolling btw. Real pro move!
