HA had a nice chuckle at that comment

It’s much easier in conversation now, isn’t it?

Eli looks like he didn’t plan on starting…

Well maybe Eli should’ve been benched. Rough start for him on both ends

This is such an odd building. It only holds 15K but has the feel of a cavernous stadium.

Really good D by Livers there, just better old man game by Giorgi

Both ends? Good defense on the drive and out sized on the rebound. Can’t excuse the first pass, but the second one looked pretty good.

Man I bet opposing fans just lose their minds when Teske hits 3s. I love it.

@umhoops already on point with the preview note on the pick and pop being open for Teske

Jon came to play!

Jesus these Hooks by Giorgi must be what it’s like to be an opposing fan see X hit a hook

Didn’t say it was his fault defensively, but Ayo has so much size on him that it’s a big mismatch. He has redeemed himself on the other end. My comment was more tongue in cheek anyways. I was complaining earlier about Davis potentially starting over him

Six minutes in and no fouls for either squad. I think Livers is doing a good job on his interior defense.

Teske’s three point shot just kinda flipped on after the first few games. It has much more arc.

This game may be a lot more fun than I had thought!

Is it weird that it feels like a huge win that there haven’t been any fouls on X, Teske, or Livers to this point?

Think we probably need to be more willing to double on those Giorgi on Livers post-ups. Maybe it’s just results-based thinking… But I’m not afraid of Illinois punishing with threes.

He looks like he’s expecting the double team, then goes to work in the post as a plan B

Our offense is looking great. Getting good, easy looks. I think our defense has actually been ok. Giorgi just making some tough shots.

I am impressed with their freshman C. But he is gassed due to this pace.
