DeVante' Jones in concussion protocol, did not travel to Indianapolis

Your response warrants the question: Real Doctor? Or Doctor J style Doctor?

Only six Wolverines have a made dunk this year. Frankie is one of them

Frankie can sky. But which is more likely?

I would say dunk

Well, he was pretty lights out in the second half of the Indiana game. I think he hit 3 three pointers in a row?

He did at that. Maybe it is like having a second home in Florida. The first time you go, you think it is humid as heck. The second time, I like this. Let’s hope he likes it.

Emergency pods?!?!? 1) Dylan and Eric can go over how Michigan’s offensive/defensive strategy changes with Frankie in the starting lineup. 2) Dylan can tell Brendan who Frankie is.

I would agree with you, if Jones did not commit 4 consecutive turnovers and played matador defense in the game against OSU the last 10 min.

Do you know how many players are/were playing with concussion symptoms? I remember Tom Brady’s wife was complaining about Tom’s undeclared concussions.

My J was deadly from half court. The reason? Nobody would expect me to launch it from there.

Jones had 2 turnovers against OSU. I don’t know what you’re talking about.

Do you know how many players are/were playing with concussion symptoms?

Do you know how many college basketball players commit turnovers and play bad defense? Lol

IMo “elbow to the face in practice” invites speculation, b/c that doesn’t make much sense either

Many. But I have not seen anybody committing 4 unforced turnovers in a row, while allowing his player to drive for an uncontested layup.

Talking about the Indiana collapse. He had 3-to’s attributed to him, and a few more bad passes, while he was waving a red towel, calling OLEEE (matador defense) at least twice.

Just seems like a lot of hoops you’re jumping through. Against Indiana he went down and was repeatedly grabbing his ankle as highlighted by the commentators. Then the game ended, he returned to Ann Arbor, participated in selection Sunday festivities, interviewed with the media, practiced Monday, got elbowed in the face at practice, then was placed into concussion protocol.

Through that entire fact pattern your conclusion is that he got a concussion against Indiana because he turned the ball over three times and played bad defense.

Was he also concussed at the end of the Iowa game when he had back to back mind-numbing TOs in crunch time?

You see a whole lot of elbows to the face, but not a whole lot of them leading to concussions. That’s what makes me wonder.

Nothing this board loves more than a good conspiracy, apparently.

Good point hack. We are all speculating, and there is nothing wrong with that. Let me bring another critical point. No coach will tell you that we let a player play without taking him through concussion testing, after suspecting something was wrong. Remember that Hoky got chewed really bad for allowing Morris to play after he was mauled multiple times.

No, I did not say that he was concussed against Indiana. If you noticed, in the game against OSU he went for a layup and he got clotheslined. The refs did not call anything and OSU went down on a 5 against 4 break hitting a three. The ref stopped the game after that to tend to Jones where he was still laying down holding his head with both hands.

Actually I think there is something wrong with that when it comes to a player’s health. What evidence do you have that indicates he had a concussion weeks ago and has been playing through it? It’s far more likely that he was elbowed and sustained a freak concussion this week. Why doubt what they are saying?
