Reminds me of the last 10 minutes of the first half, too. The first 10 minutes were actually pretty entertaining.
I may be overly optimistic but I think we handle either of these teams easily. Very sloppy game with a bunch of long twos. Gray won’t beat us by himself, Z be damned. He can’t play better than he has today and they’re struggling to put away a team that shot 15% from three

Yeah, my fear of these teams has definitely gone down. Gray is playing out of his mind and yet this game is a sludgefest.

Otoh, in their conference championship they were hitting 3’s right?
Best offensive half they’ve had in years against Nevada. The difference between their tournament and tonight is Kell offensively

We play our game we can handle either of these teams. Houston, at least at the moment, is all Gray all the time.

If he was it was the kid on Maryland at Crisler. It was at some point after that Simpson started picking guys up near half court, which helps mitigate guys pulling up and shooting over him

Just grab momentum back again tonight and I feel ok about Saturday. SDSU made no adjustments on Gray and that team is content to let him chuck.

I think Cowan beat him pretty good both times.
The LSU guy I suppose (although he didn’t play a ton of minutes). I like our odds, anyway.
