It’s going to be interesting to see how the committee differentiates some of these 15 and 16 seeded teams. If teams like Mt. St. Mary’s keep winning at large bids it’ll pretty much figure it out for them.

Corey Kispert completely unconscious to begin the second half (3/3 from deep, all perfect swishes). Zags only down three now.

Dickinson would have a hard time scoring on Haarms and their other big. Think I’d rather avoid BYU in the 2nd round. Not to mention Haarms could stand by the basket and contest all our shots

Franz has made that same move like 10 times and never gets the continuation :joy:

Can Oral Roberts blow a 25 point halftime lead?!

Suggs is a very large problem for tourney foes.

Looks like Gonzaga punched their ticket to the Big Dance with that WCC tournament championship

Why yes, yes they can. Tied at 72 14.6 secs remaining.

None of the Michigan schools qualified for the MAC Tournament.

CMU got a tourney win in 2003 with Chris Kaman.
WMU got a tourney win in 1998 with Saddi Washington
EMU got a tourney win in 1996 with Earl Boykins

It’s been quite a while since any of these schools were good in basketball. The Ohio schools have been dominating the conference and it’s getting old.

No, he wouldn’t. Haarms is tall but soft.

CMU hasn’t been good since Marcus Keene and even that team was meh. The team led by Fowler was the last real good CMU team.

That’s crazy - great for him. To think that we kicked the tires on him when he was a nobody recruit in the wake of Poole and Iggy departing (if my memory is correct) and then he skyrocketed up to the #81 recruit and is now the A10 POY just two years later. Pretty good scouting and kudos for the kid overcoming some crazy personal obstacles to be so successful.

Then it did what it was supposed to do.

I can’t remember. Was it Beilein who was looking at Bones or was it Juwan? I remembered liking him coming out of HS. Now, he’s a potential late 1st rounder.

It was Beilein, during that weird period where we needed some extra guard help and Bones and Lester Quinones were the two final options everyone was hoping for.

Few months later and our sweet prince Beilein was gone… the rest since then is history
