Regarding Girard, yes, he takes a lot of low-percentage shots, which is why he, naturally enough, shoots at a low percentage.
To be clear about Dolezaj, of course he’s nowhere near the level of Wagner. Franz is a maybe lottery pick and Dolezaj won’t be drafted. He’s shown a variety of offensive skills, though, and I think he should be a bigger part of the Syracuse offense.
Think it’s hard to enforce as you go along but if you start the season holding them accountable for it in early practices, hopefully you can limit the amount they’ll do it once games start.
Not sure I would have such a hard and fast rule but I get where Oats is coming from. Not every call a ref makes is bad, and moving past a call can sometimes help focus on going on to the next play and what you can control. I’ve had teammates that complained A LOT and I was always trying to bring them back to reality

I had no idea this even happened but just saw this on Reddit. According to Reddit comments some former Creighton players have complained about the treatment of black players at Creighton, and this seems fairly similar to what got Chambers fired at PSU. Will be interesting to see what Creighton does here.
