Regarding Girard, yes, he takes a lot of low-percentage shots, which is why he, naturally enough, shoots at a low percentage.
To be clear about Dolezaj, of course he’s nowhere near the level of Wagner. Franz is a maybe lottery pick and Dolezaj won’t be drafted. He’s shown a variety of offensive skills, though, and I think he should be a bigger part of the Syracuse offense.

Not sure I would have such a hard and fast rule but I get where Oats is coming from. Not every call a ref makes is bad, and moving past a call can sometimes help focus on going on to the next play and what you can control. I’ve had teammates that complained A LOT and I was always trying to bring them back to reality

According to Reddit comments some former Creighton players have complained about the treatment of black players at Creighton, and this seems fairly similar to what got Chambers fired at PSU.
