Is the value of that space higher than the lower expected value of those longer 3s over time? Do they actually consistently practice at that longer distance?
WVU heating up…
This McNeil kid has no conscience.
Wow W Va inspired now.
This game is great.
Feeling pretty dumb on not following my gut and taking WVU +4 at halftime because I “didn’t know the Big 12 enough”
Dylan - something tells me you LOVE how ‘Bama plays, and wish they’d actually execute so they’d be a poster child for modern bball.
Huggins embracing his full Jeff Lebowski vibe.
Huggins gonna start just wearing a tarp
Outside of zags/baylor, i think i’d be most worried about a west virginia matchup. I know the metrics don’t love them, but they have no bad losses and can really play.
Yup WVU is the 2 seed that I’d like to avoid if possible
Ha! It’s definitely intriguing although I’m not sure that ramping up the shot selection lever to 100 is the best move for the most offense, if that makes sense.
You don’t want the worst shot selection but I’m not sure the “all threes and layups no matter what” is the optimal blend for college hoops.
Man WVU is sloppy with the ball.
This games going to OT, no question in my mind. If our game weren’t gonna start right after this one, I’d love OT.
McNeil’s teammates yelling at him to just shoot
mayer only plays 35% of baylor’s minutes (per kenpom)?? seems like michael jordan should play more.
I didn’t realize Baylor had Uncle Rico hitting 3’s for them
Glad I’m not the only one that looked this guy up on kenpom after those shots.
I sure hope nobody helps off of their man on the perimeter.
