UCF up 10 on FSU at FSU. UCF has 3 players with over 20 points.

UCF is closing out a win at FSU, up 8 with 1:29 left. Maybe UCF will end up being a decent win for us?

Heck of a win for UCF. After the game at UM I were convinced they were a pretty bad team all around but they have some talent and will get healthier. Should be able to win some games in the American.

UCF jumped into the top 100 on KenPom and just outside it on Torvik. As a result Michigan’s now in the top 15 on both sites.

Marquette and Xavier in a fantastic game. 12:25 left, Xavier up 1

Xavier Marquette just had one of the wildest finishes I’ve seen in a while

They also lost their top returning player unless you consider green that. Naz Carter was dismissed from the team for some pretty bad accusations. Two of them actually. Kind of sad. Seemed like a nice kid two times I met him.

Still sad they are that bad though. I thought Hopkins was going to do a lot better than this.

Featuring quite possibly the worst ballscreen you’ll see all season. But, what a great shot and perfect footwork on the step-back game-winner (the footwork that X could never quite get right).

Watching Providence run offense is painful.

…and yet they just won.

Yikes. Very public call-out. Wonder if this will even be able to be mended

The other tweets were just as harsh.

I have never seen anything even remotely similar to this. Wow.

Cal calling out Cam Fletcher is another level. About 16 hours before Cal takes to twitter, Fletcher came out and apologized. I feel like that is huge for him to own it in a public sphere with no “ifs, ands, or buts.” Then Cal proceeds to not only tell him to step away for a period of time but does it publicly on Twitter. At least keep this ish in the locker room SMH

Wow. Well, Calipari isn’t a guy who doesn’t think before he speaks, generally.

Michigan up to #19 in the latest AP Poll. Big Ten teams:

  • #4 Iowa
  • #9 Wisconsin
  • #11 Rutgers
  • #12 MSU
  • #18 Illinois
  • #19 Michigan
  • #23 OSU

Indiana #30, Purdue #36, Northwestern #38, and Minnesota #40 in the “others receiving votes” section, along with UCF checking in at #39.

It’s surprising because Calipari is generally on the extreme end of protecting the player’s reputation in these situations - his statement about Whitney last year was about the best you could hope for.

I really think OSU isn’t good. I like Liddell. Don’t like much past that.

What did Fletcher do?

I’ve been saying the same but they have surprised me and been better than I thought. Probably not 23 in the nation though
