Regardless of peoples’ personal views on the virus, lockdowns, shutdowns, etc… I find it incredibly weird that there isn’t universal celebration that we have any sports at all. MLB, the NBA Bubble, CFB and the NFL…its amazing what they’ve done, despite hiccups along the way.
If games get cancelled they get cancelled, but players get to play, more employees get to keep their jobs and the rest of us get some semblance of normalcy.
Memphis/St. Mary’s is on ESPN 2. Probably the only remotely decent game on right now. Neither team looks particularly good though, and Memphis’s offense makes me want to tear my hair out.
Might not be surprising, but it baffles me that elite high school recruits commit to places where the existing roster won’t allow them to even set foot on the court.
I’m pretty sure Christopher thinks that too. IIRC he said as much in an interview with Sam Webb. I personally don’t think “more athletic Jordan Poole” is really stellar praise for someone who aspires to be a lottery pick.
