College Basketball 2023-24 Discussion

Yeah that’s fair I forgot about what going in 2013 meant after being irrelevant program for a decade or so

And me saying “lame” only refers to the fact it was a total blowout. It was dang fun!

Plus all my emotion was spent watching Trey bombing a shot from 40 feet so I was tapped out

lol yeah that’s why it ain’t #1

I feel like advancing to natty isn’t as joyous as advancing to final four because going to natty as awesome as it is it’s also a little bitter sweet knowing no matter what the season and run is over

Completely agree on the feeling of U-M reaching the Final Four. Unmatched. (Well, another hoops natty would eclipse it, but I was 18 the last time that happened, so it’s a foggy memory.)

Just seems like where we’re at that Buzz would finally make a tourney run for A&M and get locked into a mega deal.

Brutal news.

If NaeQwan Tomlin was still at KSU, Tulsa would be destroying this Memphis team

71-68 Memphis with 2:14 left. Pj Haggerty is a dude

Nice for Penny he can take a guy that got kicked out of school mid year to fill his biggest hole

Heartbreaker almost hit the tying desperation three

Should’ve let Barnes take the last shot

It was odd at the time but it really might be the weirdest transfer of the off-season. Rutgers needs a guy who can get teammates involved but instead he’s in Seattle standing around watching Sahvir Wheeler play point guard for an NIT team. (Even with him, Rutgers ceiling is the NIT too but at least we’re not a six hour flight away. I guess he got the bag though so good for him)

EDIT: Update, he missed a game-winning shot at the end and finished with zero points.
