He also played 30 mpg for a team that got last in the B12
Ironically his best numbers as well.
Somewhere between a 9 seed and on the wrong side of the bubble
I don’t think that’s a very good team unless Dug plays like he did the first two weeks the whole season
Staying eligible would be nice too
Torvik says it’s likely not a tournament team and I agree.
Not that good
John Jakus putting together a monster
This is a lot of dough!
I’ll never forgive him for losing to (the other) MSU in the 8/9 game this year
Vandy insiders claim they paid hoggard almost 1 million
That’s not smart! Grad student or not, Hoggard is clearly already watering down the value of this very prestigious institution’s degrees.
Watering down their spacing too.
That is an…interesting? team.
Kijani Wright was USC’s 3rd center but their rotation there was Izzo-esque.
MJ Collins is that MJ Collins.
McGlockton has a dope last name? And was a super low usage efficient scoring 4.
Edwards was UNT’s super high usage lead guard.
I feel like this is what every HM roster looks like now. Vandy’s is one of the lesser incarnations you’ll see but the sheer randomness of the projected starting lineup is spot on.
Torvik really likes them. Top 50 for a team as bad as Vandy the last several years.
Was gonna say the same thing about it just feeling like every HM team these days. Collection of decent-ish probably guys with a weakness or two. In this case they have Hoggard plus a weird combo of other guards plus maybe one decent center?
Nickel’s shooting is gonna be much needed. I would guess he plays a ton, maybe even with Mcglockton as the 5?
Just with Collins and Hoggard set to be two of your primary guys, you gotta get a lot of shooting out there other ways
The Hoggard/Edwards thing should work I think. Similar to Hoggard/Walker in a lot of ways.
McGlockton is a guy that I like, but oh baby there’s not a lot there!
Yeah I think transfers + new coaches means Torvik is just gonna break on some of these projections. Like, you’d for sure rather have Louisville’s roster, right?
