I love this starting point. Give me more. To add some ACTIVATIONS and to TRULY SATISFY our customers I’d like you to think through how to get Rucker, an aircraft carrier, home games and the Palestra involved!
(I actually kind of love your proposal but it is the opposite of tournament expansion, it’s contraction! Which is not wrong but deadest of DOA!)
To do it, you would have had to split the conference tournaments into two weekends. Which would add more venues. And the ratings would go way up for the conference tourneys because they could end your season. But alas, just a thought experiment.

If Bama gets Sears back, they are gonna be a F4 candidate again.
I’m sure Houston Mallette will enjoy playing for a winner, but he’s not going to see the court much if Sears returns.

If Sears isn’t back I think Alabama is just a normal good team. Not sure a Youngblood/Nelson/Wrightsell/Omoruyi core is gonna be a top 10 team

Couldn’t find any announcement that he was signed, but he’s updated his LinkedIn (don’t laugh!) to reflect that he’s enrolled at Bama, so I think he’s there for good.
Sounds like a very impressive young man based on his “About” section.
