He’s Will Wade. He got the job and recruited the best roster in the league. It’s what he does.
I think he’s overrated with some and underrated by some who think he’s just a roll the balls out coach.
It’s become this niche thing to hype him up now though, so basically I think everyone’s takes are a little too over-baked on him.

Exactly. People hyping him up as like an auto target for Louisville and stuff like that. I agree at one point he was maybe underrated but this year things got out of hand the other direction.
I just think there’s this idea that he can only get dudes and can’t coach when if you actually listen to him talk about coaching, and see him coach and prepare, they do some really good stuff. Re-invent themselves in interesting ways. I think there’s more there beyond the rogue bag man, take shots at the NCAA, rules don’t matter, etc. narrative.
He’s not like Chris Beard or something. But I’d also much rather hire a guy who rebels against a messed up system than someone who hits women, so

Wade just seems like he’s Arkansas’ ouerve (just like Muss is ABSOLUTELY in USC’s, which doesn’t make him the right hire, IMO, at all)
