we have fifteen other years of Montgomery as Izzo’s right hand man.
Izzo is either digging in for a reboot or the end is near.

His value add is pretty strong and the guy went from one of the best offenses in the country to one of the best D’s at LSU. He often has more resources than other schools in his league but he doesn’t squander them.

Montgomery is the author of one of the funniest college basketball scores I’ve ever seen.
On January, 23, 2013, the Northern Illinois Huskies traveled to Ypsilanti to take on the Eastern Michigan Eagles. Offense was at a premium that day; one might say it was similar to two prize fighters feeling each other out.
At the half, NIU trailed EMU, 18-4. Yes, four. They scored four points in one half. The Huskies managed to quintuple their first half total, but sadly that was not enough, as they ultimately lost by a score of 42-25.
Imagine only scoring 42 points (hi, Tony Bennett!) yet winning by 17. Take a bow, Rob Murphy.

A team’s season is gonna end on like March 3 and FOX wants them to play in a tournament four weeks later. Imagine if they tried to get, like, Oklahoma to play in a tournament last week. Good luck with that!
