Notre Dame is eligible for the ACC hoops title

Dug felt like the final straw when the news dropped—and the board did a big new hire thread bc of it—but that changed pretty quickly. You can go find those polls. I got questioned for my optimism when I said I thought it was likely he was gone.
Looks like only 18 days ago we were debating the meaning of the Quinn piece and what that meant for Juwan and who hired the external firm to do a culture check since it didn’t make a lot of sense for Warde to have done it.
Well, he is a rich-ass dude!
I think it is a crazy Providence fan fueled rumor thing. They are actually crazy.
I think that’s probably true. And had that been the case, I think many would have given Juwan another shot due to the health issues, even if most did not see much optimism in a 2024-25 Juwan season. But I think the absolute dredge that was this season made it so Warde had no choice. 13-19 and 7-13 in conference play makes it a tougher choice for the seemingly decision-averse Manuel.
Guilty. So it’s basically Western Idaho University.
This really has me wondering how they ever got Klay to choose Wazzu over Michigan/Beilein?
How were you able to record my screen from 3 hours ago???
If Juwan after 2021 had left Michigan for Indiana or OSU, it would have also broken my brain
To be fair, I don’t think our brains are exactly in mint condition after everything that’s happened since 2021
I don’t think it’s that far fetched. Look at Beilein in 15 and 16 nobody was happy after that. He wasn’t getting fired but it wasn’t good either. Howard had more cred going into this year based upon name and prestige. If they had grabbed Ws against Minnesota/Iowa/LBSU/Rutgers/PennSt/Oregon/
Indiana/Florida. That would change perspective certainly with Warde imo. Noting that there are only 3 tourney teams in that group.
I too think that if Michigan had been twice as good as it was it may have changed the outlook
So close!
Would be curious to hear @BigBoutros feedback on this. That’s a lot of money

I’ll take a look, entirely possible with big boosters. the match campaigns are extremely effective
ok, so the target is $1 million crowdsourced and then Kueber will match with another million. they’re at 382k crowd, 764k with match.
$2 million is a realistic overall program budget for one season.
if people remember the Those Who Stay campaign, we had a $1 million target with matches along the way. It hit 750k in crowd and doubled in matches, so it was a successful campaign. One of the distinguishing features of the Michigan Money Cannon is the longevity – the link below is active, for example, and still getting donations. We’ll have to see if 502 Circle can keep it up long enough to hit the target.
Biggest difference to note is that 502 Circle is not running a fundraising campaign – these are memberships. No VIP event access until $850 per month. Steep!
One argument you could try to make for WSU is that a lot of grads live in the Seattle area, so it can deliver that market, sort of. I remember seeing somewhere that TV viewership for WSU football actually wasn’t that bad - better than some schools in P4 conferences.
(Edit - found a link. 43rd best viewership in the country in 2023, not incredible but better than several B1G schools.)
This Indiana State vs Utah NIT game rules. Josh Schertz, Cream Abdul Jabar, Cole Bajema, tie game at the half
