lol Dylan I’m not confused by that meme. nobody seemed to predict Louisville’s AD would do such a terribly bad job here. everybody said they had the best job to hire for and would have the first pick of the draft so to speak. seems like if you knew the caliber of the AD you might say things like “Michigan might actually be the best job on the market here” and it didn’t seem like anybody suspected that.

Hmm yeah, I guess? It basically came down to one decision.
The fact that there aren’t really other great candidates was established beforehand I feel like.
It was so hard to know where to go after Dusty: OSU, Louisville, etc.
I will say, someone during the search who I trust a decent amount told me they like Kelsey more than Dusty! So who knows. The optics of hiring a Mack guy are hilarious to me.
