Happy with Dusty for sure. Don’t you think in Michigan’s case they would just pivot to AAR if Dusty went elsewhere?
I wonder how much of Louisville problem is if word is true that Dusty received threats? I could imagine that would have spread like wildfire in the coaching community.

Just off the phone with one of my coaching friends who talked last night with a former Pitino assistant. What he told me
- Richard was 100% set on coming and had already started working back channels on assemling a staff, etc
- the “big money donors” at UofL were all behind Richard and the former assistant told my friend “unless someone completely screws this up, it will come out tomorrow that Richard is the guy”
- his words - “your AD f’ed this one up royally”

Kelsey seems like an ok coach? It doesn’t seem like an auto-bad-hire by any stretch, just far below what I think the fans were envisioning in terms of splash

i mean it does seem like he turned them down. which does seem crazy regardless. something is seriously messed up there
