Yep. Anybody that even brought his name up has not done even a small amount of research about his departure from the college game.

Plus, at 70 years old, all he has to focus on right now is basketball. Doesn’t have to deal with the NCAA, an athletic department, boosters, parents, teenagers, handlers etc.

Their schedule isn’t out yet but they played game 11 on 12/11 last year so he should be back by then.

I don’t understand a 2 year show cause and a 10 game suspension. Isn’t a show cause something which means a school hiring a coach has to get approval from the NCAA before the hire or face further penalties? If McNeese has already gotten approval, what is the 2 year show cause—in case he moves again? If it hasn’t, when does the 10 game suspension start running?

Lol, no they dont, mcneese state is thrilled they got to hire a coach they would have had no shot at without the drama around him. These penalties will have little impact on lsu or wade, cheating always pays off in ncaa sports.

To be fair, what is the purpose of a show cause penalty that is placed after he’s hired. Serious “closing the barn door after letting the horses out” vibes. I’m guessing they won’t make McNeese justify it now, or ask them to can him if they can’t show cause.

Home and home leg two years ago didn’t happen and doesn’t seem like any of the home and homes are happening.

I think if he ever came back to college, it would be at a small University where OAD’s and NIL are less of an issue.
