If NW loses this game at IU… Wednesday is going to be a huge game for them.
Very real shot we could end up tied with Maryland and Minny for the 3 seed but lose the head to head tiebreakers and fall to 5

IU beats NW, UM tied for 6th with NW. Showdown Wednesday.
Yes free throws and we beat minny or if the refs didn’t just straight rob us. Either way, I think it’s clear this team is pretty damn good at times. Minny sucks I don’t care what their record is.
Let’s keep the effort up and win these two road games. If you really look at it I think it could be argued we are the third, possibly second most tAlented team in the big ten. If they somehow win out then win two in the tourney would we be a 6 seed?
Yeah I’m having a hard time finding many tiebreakers that would push Michigan to Friday in the Big Ten Tourney, they are out there but require winning out and getting some luck.

As to how to the Big Ten’s late-season internal bludgeoning translates to the rest of the nation, Purdue just got slapped around by Michigan; second-place Wisconsin has lost three of its last four games; co-third-place Maryland has lost five of its last seven; Michigan State added Eron Harris to a lost-for-season injury list which already included Gavin Schilling and Ben Carter; Northwestern never has played an NCAA Tournament game; and Iowa is less bubble team than bubble aspirant.
MSU outplaying Wisconsin this afternoon.
I’m not a big Tom Izzo fan but he’s done a great job with this team this year.

A great job? They started the year ranked in the top 15 and now they are a bubble team. Great is a pretty strong word to use with a team that will end the season with 12-13 losses

Wisconsin doesn’t have a single kenpom top 25 win this season. Every game that they struggle it becomes clearer and clearer that they’re a lot closer to us than they are to being a top 4 seed. If they lose to Minnesota or Iowa in addition to MSU and only 1 BTT win I wouldn’t be shocked to see them as a 7 or 8 seed.
