I get not all stress reactions are the same but isnāt that what cost Langford one of his 8 seasons? Coming off an overuse foot injury is tough to call for a āfull recoveryā at this point.

Do we know every one of them is good? We have zero evidence that any of the 3 centers will be good this season. Maybe they will, maybe they wonāt. We donāt know if Holloman is good. We donāt have evidence that Pierre Brooks is good yet either. So just like that we are now down to only 5 players that we know are good. There is still a lot of mystery as to how good their depth will really be.

Yeah, I get this vibe too. I like Akins and I think Hall is interesting as a role player but otherwise I donāt like their roster much. But Iāll believe Izzo is washed when I watch them lose an opening round NIT game. In some ways āscrappy hard working over-achieversā is the type of roster Izzo thrives with.
Then again, I also find it notable that in the top-25 player countdown the two MSU players right now come with the caveat of āonly played 20 minutes per gameā.

I know some will be happy with this news but I donāt think this is good for the conference. Unless they get other good officials the crop is taking a hit.
Definitely a lot of differences from Torvik. Penn St and MSU finishing neck and neck brings me joy

Not sure Iāve ever felt worse about my preseason Big Ten ballot. Iāve also generally been way off on my preseason Big Ten ballots.
Iām really curious to see how the unofficial official poll comes out next week. They added second team all-league + Transfer of the Year so that should be fun.
