I’m pretty sure I’ve big-brained myself into picking Purdue to win the conference. I don’t feel good about it.
If it makes you feel better I have small-brained myself into thinking Purdue will stink this year. So they will be really good.

Based on what? Does going to Big Ten Media Day matter to players to the extent that it would “keep them happy”?
To me it just kind of shows the problem with MSU. There’s no obvious Media Day guy.
This feels like that’s exactly what it is. Make Akins feel like he’s being included as one of those top guys on the team. Otherwise, don’t you cut off the number of players that you are sending somewhere short of 5?
There were rumors last year that Akins wasn’t happy with his role and minutes. Feels like they are trying to make him happy in year 2.
