Maybe he is and that’s what is making the floor slippery
Illinois fans have to be almost as frustrated with their season so far as we are with ours
Compare that ball movement by PennState with ours. I had beilein deja vu.
We were behind in winking?
Our behinds’ winked.
Higher seeded teams are 0-5 against lower seeded teams. Gauntlet conference
Vegas needs to put odds of Coleman Hawkins requesting a review during a game. The odds would have to be about -350. Or maybe just an o/u of 1.5 would be better.
Hopefully ohio state wipes out msu. But I’m guessing they won’t.
IDK, this MSU team is very mediocre in talent, but I kind of like them, Izzo excepted. Certaining that there are numerous other annoying teams makes it easier to swallow.
Coleman Hawkins is incredulous as he rolls out of bed every morning
Crazy thing is if we had just beat Illinois we’re probably in and they’d be almost out.
The day keeps getting better!
Little hung up on the keeps, but
I’m rooting fit chaos in this tournament so good job PSU. Let’s go Minny!
This coulda been us taking on an unmotivated #1 seed.
Lol, did anyone just see the edey pass? I’ve never seen someone miss a guy that badly. Hunters passing wasnt as slick or accurate this year but he’s never missed that badly before.
sure seems like they’re kinda playing for a 1 seed right. Not sure why they should be completely checked out.
I was just going for a lame attempt at humor. It was 17-7 when I last checked. I now see it’s a one-point game.
I’m sure Purdue isn’t “checked out” but I think the motivation in a tournament like this is pretty limited for a team like that. Stu Douglass talked about this on that pod with the Sparty guy where he basically said he never felt super motivated for the BTT and especially when they won a share of the outright regular season title. It doesn’t matter because we were atrocious yesterday but I definitely buy that Purdue would be easier to beat in this tournament than in other circumstances.
Purdue is probably a more of a lock for a 1 seed then they are making it out to be. There would be some bracketing issues if UCLA get the last 1 seed. Birmingham (Alabama/Houston), Des Moines (Kansas) and Sacramento (UCLA) are all Thursday/Saturday sites and they need to have a 1 at a Friday/Sunday site, which Columbus is, to pair up with the Wednesday 16 play-in winner.
