Thanks. I thought that this was pretty well established. I also thought it was pretty clear that Juwan had invited him to join the team, which–to me–was the important piece where criticism of him is concerned. Then admissions said no. Am I getting this right? If I am then the story is, to me, that he wanted to come, Juwan wanted him and. . . I don’t blame Juwan.

nor do I. where it does get more mysterious is when the waiver talk comes up. supposedly Illinois had the same overall transfer policy as Michigan but snuck Shannon in and we refused to do so. that is not verifiable however.
it’s mostly UM admissions fault in any case but Adams did screw us

Until this year, it’s very rare.
Their AD obviously got a pass of some sort.
Can’t fault teams for being all in on sports.
That’s the game in this current era.
Non grad transfers in general were not happening
at a rapid rate in college sports until recently, so seems irrelevant to me.
All known info has him wanting to come here. Didn’t work out for us obviously, so we wish it did. Not really hard to figure out
