Shocked that a 60% 3 point shooter misses a wide open 3.
RJ Melendez: Shooter.
Mind-bogglingly bad msitake by Miller Kopp there too. Lucky.
Not watching right now and came to this thread to check in. Sounds like the refs are having a rough day based on 20 comments from multiple games. Wonderfulā¦my least favorite thing. Do your job, use your fellow refs to help, donāt become the center of attention, be consistent. Bad calls will happen, but far too often in this sport.
Torvik forgot to plug that miss into his off-season algorithim.
Have to say, Iāve found myself pulling for Indiana. Respect due to TJD for finding another level as a senior. This team never seemed to me to have that high a ceiling, and TJD seemed to rack up a lot of points against bad teams, but thatās not this year. Heās taking them places.
The off season Melendez hype was insane. But I still donāt see it with Coleman Hawkins. I get the raw talent that makes people think he could be good given his height ⦠But just donāt know why there was off season hype or there still is a flicker of NBA hype. He canāt shoot, he makes dumb decisions, and heās wildly inconsistent. Great player to have as your 4th-6th guy, but donāt see more than that.
Obligatory āTorvik RosterCast in shamblesā post.
Conference continues to be ⦠who the hell knows.
Amazing that all seven of Wisconsinās wins are by two possessions or less. And it hasnāt beat an NCAA Tournament team since December.
Gotta give Rutgers credit for gutting that out in Wisconsin without two starters
Wisconsin shot 33% on twos
I know Mag and McConnell were a huge part of what they did on D, and itās always hard to distinguish good defense from Wisconsin offense
But Iām feeling nice today
Every official in this conference is appalling.
Wisconsin and Illinois losing is a good way to start the college basketball day.
This was the second best PPP game for Wisconsin in the last eight.
Lol well ok
Never really understood talk of him coming back but:
A game after Nebraska shot 74% on them against Rutgers
Jalen Pickett with 32/9/8 in the W over Minnetonka
I never know if I should be happy or sad when I look at that
