Northwestern or Indiana tonight?

I think NW? I think the meshing of JHS’ libertine attitude towards ball security combined with the Wildcats’ ball hawking (and homecourt) is a little rough for Indiana?

The first time around, NW did a pretty good job on TJD (I tihnk he had as many points as shots?), but I guess let him play-make for JHS pretty well (who shot awesomely)…if they can manage that, and JHS isn’t draining everything…

Why is “arm locking” more dangerous than other types of contact/fouls? Is it in the top 10 of most dangerous actions on a basketball court?

Mostly just railing against hook and holds

Isn’t it the play that got Kelly Olynyk branded a dirty player because he dislocated Kevin Love’s shoulder?

Wasn’t the Kelly Olynyk play a more important explicit pull than normal arms getting locked up?

Didn’t see the Edey play he’s referring to, but he says “hook and hold” which is the foul Olynyk got nailed for, and what got Haas’ arm broken a few years ago.

Yeah hook and holds are bad. What Klesmit did to Hunter is worse.

B1G officials in their standard form (atrocious) for IU vs NW.

Is this referring to the technicals that just got thrown out?

That and TJD getting no calls.

Those techs never happen if the refs just make the very obvious travel call.

Tuned in just in time to see the T’s so can’t comment on the other stuff. Ts were totally justified. The entire staff jumped up and were coaching/yelling. If Saddi gets Td up for what he did against OSU, then those guys needed it also. They were constantly on their feet against Michigan too.

Woodson’s was justified too. Looks like Larry tried giving him rope but once there was contact it had to be done. He needs to do a better job keeping his staff under control.

The techs for the reactions were justified. My point is that those reactions should have never happened. All the officials had to do was call the obvious travel, but we can’t even expect that level of officiating competency in this conference.

Watching Indiana-Nw and it occurred to me that as salty as we are about our season sucking, it can’t be as frustrating as being a Nw fan and coming to the realization that Michigan played its only two good games all year against them.

I think if I were a NW fan I’d be pretty happy despite the losses to Michigan.

Among his many unbelievable achievements the most impressive may be that he’s single-handedly making me sorta like IU.
