No question Woodson can coach, but did he take the night off last Tuesday?
Hey, we’re still mathematically eligible to win a share of the title!
That MSU game was at Breslin, FYI.
I’m not even directing it you really. I know you were more so clowning Race but GG is interesting to me.
Not ruling out him becoming a a spark off the bench by years end next year.
So…Michigan still has a chance at a share of the B1G championship.
I mean it’s not like Indiana is peaking right now. They just got rocked by MSU, lost to NW, should have lost to us. I agree on selling Purdue though
Your Regular B1G Season Co-Champion Northwestern Wildcats would like a word.
Crazy thing is that we’re just a couple plays away from 1st place, too.
Other than beating up on the worst teams in the conference by a bazillion each at Mackey, Purdue has not done much that’s impressive in conference play. Records in order of B1G standings, point differentials with my sarcastic notes to paint the narrative how I want to
NW - 0-1 (-6)
IU - 0-2 (-13)
MD - 1-1 (-11) includes 3 PT win in Mackey
ILL - 0-0
MICH - 1-0 (+5) - no Jett
IOWA - 1-0 (+14)
RUT - 0-1 (-1)
MSU - 2-0 (+17) - includes a 2PT win at MSU
WIS - 0-0
PSU - 2-0 (+33)
NEB - 2-0 (+21) - includes OT win at NEB
OSU - 2-0 (+29) - includes 2PT win at OSU
MINN - 2-0 (+41)
You’re an artist. Paint away baby
Hilarious that if Michigan had beaten Purdue they’d be tied for 1st in the conference right now
I see 11-6 if you flip the Purdue game. Are you already assuming a victory over Wisconsin tomorrow?
Also found this interesting: of the 5 teams at the bottom of both the B1G standings and KenPom ranks (Penn State, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Ohio State, Minnesota), this is how many times out of a maximum 10 and minimum 5 that each winning B1G team got to play that group:
Purdue: 9
Northwestern: 7
Indiana: 5
Maryland: 10
Illinois: 10
Michigan: 7
Iowa: 8
Michigan State: 6
Rutgers: 8
I’ll buy some Indiana stock if anyone’s selling.
How much money did Hood Schifino make tonight? What a game. They just carved Purdue up in the paint all night
Well that explains it then. It’s impossible for the visiting team to win at Breslin!
The Boiler legions are unhappy.
“If we are satisfied with mediocre Matt is your man.”
“Purdue never grows from this because their coach is incapable of growth.”
“How quickly this team became my least favorite in over a decade.”
Yep, well…fans…on message boards.
Purdue is a fine team, but they are starting two true freshman non-5* guards. Edey has carried them through a weak Big Ten and they’ll likely win the conference, but they just aren’t equipped to make a March run.
