I mean it’s not like Indiana is peaking right now. They just got rocked by MSU, lost to NW, should have lost to us. I agree on selling Purdue though

Other than beating up on the worst teams in the conference by a bazillion each at Mackey, Purdue has not done much that’s impressive in conference play. Records in order of B1G standings, point differentials with my sarcastic notes to paint the narrative how I want to

IU - 0-2 (-13)
MD - 1-1 (-11) includes 3 PT win in Mackey
ILL - 0-0
MICH - 1-0 (+5) - no Jett

RUT - 0-1 (-1)
MSU - 2-0 (+17) - includes a 2PT win at MSU
WIS - 0-0
PSU - 2-0 (+33)
NEB - 2-0 (+21) - includes OT win at NEB

Also found this interesting: of the 5 teams at the bottom of both the B1G standings and KenPom ranks (Penn State, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Ohio State, Minnesota), this is how many times out of a maximum 10 and minimum 5 that each winning B1G team got to play that group:
Purdue: 9
Northwestern: 7
Indiana: 5
Maryland: 10
Illinois: 10
Michigan: 7
Iowa: 8
Michigan State: 6
Rutgers: 8
I’ll buy some Indiana stock if anyone’s selling.

Purdue is a fine team, but they are starting two true freshman non-5* guards. Edey has carried them through a weak Big Ten and they’ll likely win the conference, but they just aren’t equipped to make a March run.
