we blew an 800 point lead to Indiana which has led to their hype
Michigan unfortunately created this monster.
Without our collapse, they don’t make it to Saturday and don’t get a bid.
Caleb McConnell is back for Rutgers. Just have to convince him that every game is a tournament game. He’s bad offensively but has two double doubles in three NCAA tournament games.
At the very least it saves Rutgers’ defensive floor which was looking quite low with Paul Mulcahy and Cam Spencer in line for major minutes.
Looking forward to TJD getting every preseason accolade over Hunter for… reasons
TJD is a good player. He was also arguably the sixth best center in the B10 last year behind Kofi, Hunter, EJ, Trevion, and Edey. Hilarious that he’s getting AA chatter and Hunter isn’t.
This take is pretty spot on. And lets say he has this breakout season and ends up first-team AA…that is year 4 of CBKB from somebody who was supposed to be a one and done.
4 centers…:ok then
I’m not a big “positions should matter” on All-American teams, but it is definitely going to be another post player-heavy year I think.
Basically all of the guards and wings on 2023 mocks are incoming freshmen. Not sure who the Johnny Davis/Jaden Ivey sophomore breakout types are this year. It’s hard for any freshman guard to have a AA season too.
Probably going to be a new normal in CBB. Literally 3 AA caliber Cs are coming back, not going to see a wing do that
Feel like we are missing the small tenured elite point guards though. That was a fixture a couple years back, now I’m not sure.
That’s because Dug is only a freshman
That’s a brilliant tweet Dylan.
But if Dug struggles this year then 80% of this board will agree he only has a 5% chance of contributing as a sophomore
said it earlier in the off season but it feels like non nba centers are the new white wale in recruiting, they are just insanely valuable
To be fair wasnt Hunter a preseason AA last season who finished second team All Big Ten?
Looks like he would have been about second team last year?
I’d say Hunter had a significantly better year than TJD last year.
Ahhh I didn’t look up the actual AP votes. I google searched and saw Rothstein and other media folk’s individual lists had him up there. Makes sense.
