Big Ten Basketball 2021-22 Discussion

I definitely do not understand what Izzo is doing right now but hey, I don’t mind. LOL

So…Jaron Faulds was a higher rated recruit.

As a third big Faulds was fine for us. Problem is MSUs third big will play 15 minutes/game.

Yes agreed and I think this would be brutally obvious to all if it wasn’t for stumbling into the Winston/Tillman pairing.

Yes, Faulds was a three star who had a pretty darn good high school career at Holt H.S.

I’m sure that’s the highest upvoted comment on that thread, with the most downvoted one being Michigan flaired and the replies being Juclown Coward can’t even win with Belein’s program and three back to back #1recruiting classes.

So that’s what happened with Kithier?

I watched some of this Carson Cooper dudes highlights and I was really impressed with how well he moves for a 6’11" dude. Had some really nice finishes and some great tape overall.

Then I realized, in the entire tape I watched, there are maybe 2-3 highlights where he’s going up against someone 6’6" or taller.

Reunited with Little Lacey…Sad news

Not sure if this is a surprise but Kris – not just Keegan – getting the combine invite puts Iowa on extremely thin ice

46th is already a bit shaky but that doesn’t even account for some very generous projections (PatCaf with a 116 ORtg on 22% usage at 81% of minutes etc)

Yeah that ain’t a top 50 team

Kris Murray declined his combine invite.

Very much BPONE. It’s just incredibly logical for some team to see the opportunity to pick up the exact same physical package in the second round, so why assume that for Murray it means going back to school and for Houstan the opposite? Yes, maybe Givony isn’t really assuming here, but obviously when you’re a Michigan fan you lose most of your guys early whereas others go back to school. Year after year just a piece short. Regardless of whether that’s a statistically valid observation, that’s what it feels like today.

MSU fans hopes and dreams are all resting on Jaxon Kohler

I think Rothstein’s starting five is a really good offensive lineup if it can stay on the floor UNC-style. If there were ever a year for Izzo to break his addiction to 14-man hockey rotations it’s this one
