How much can you decline when you’re only 5’3"?
I disagree but I get it. That’s part of the cost that Juwan will be paying for a long time
Putting this here to not bog down the Shannon talk and because I’ve heard MSU fans say they can get in on this because “if he’s visiting Butler why wouldn’t he visit MSU?”
Matta has got some real momentum early on at Butler. Homerun hire for them.
Thad Matta can recruit? Who knew?
yeah people forget Matta is the dude who went like 34-3 one year and won the conference 5 times.
yeah he fell of late due to health but the guy has a decent resume, I would say.
Heh, I don’t think many have forgotten that Thad can recruit. He’s definitely a good coach, but it’s a question of how long he will be able to stay in the grind with his debilitating health condition.
What is his condition exactly?
He had a back issue that required surgery that then caused something called drop foot, which apparently is a permanent affliction requiring a brace in order to stand and walk normally. One of the articles mentioned his back is still an issue, too.
wow so this was back in 2007 – he got a surgery to correct his back, it ruined his foot and it didn’t even work on his back? poor guy that is a living nightmare
Yeah, it’s pretty awful all around.
Plus it is dull. It’s a Mennonite’s idea of a happenin’ city.
lol Indy taking body blows in this threads
Boy, Purdue will have an essentially all new backcourt next year. Holy smokes.
I don’t know if thats good or bad? The ones they had were basically replacement level so is it bad to be losing them?
Would have to imagine this signals good things for them regarding Pack.
Yeah, forgot about his connections with Purdue. If Purdue gets Pack, Torvik has them passing Michigan for best team in big ten next year
Also worth noting that Michigan adding Shannon doesn’t change our rank at all, so take his preseason rankings with a grain of salt lol.
i assume that on torvik’s site if you remove juwan howard michigan improves by ten wins
We would have won the previous three national championships if we didn’t have, objectively speaking, the worst coach in the Milky Way.
