I think unless MSU adds someone like Shannon or someone takes a massive leap (I guess if Christie is gone that leaves someone like Sissoko who hasnt shown anything) I can’t see how they are really any better than this year. Can see them winning between 10-12 games in conference and first weekend exit.
Gonna be tough for the abuser to get his coveted 2nd title with a roster that has absolutely no NBA talent on it.
I don’t prematurely want to dance on their grave either but if this is true that this is the roster they are going with and Izzo is legit giving the portal the middle finger then I think Izzo is hitting his late stage Dantonio era.
Red flags are already there with Fife/Stephens leaving, his more unhinged behavior and unwillingness to adapt. I think this would be MUCH more apparent to the masses if it weren’t for Winston and Tillman covering a lot of issues for a few years.

Three straight seasons of 7th place in the Big Ten or worse paired with three straight seasons of no second weekend, paired with Mel Tucker continuing to do well on the football field and in the portal would make for a very very interesting situation to watch.

Personally I would think it’s best paired with Mel Tucker not continuing to strike gold in the portal and showing he can’t build anything sustainable but that could just be me.

Reneau is legit but he’s kind of an awkward fit for them next year right? They need a 4th starter unless Bates is definitely ready for sure but they really need that guy to be a floor spacer?
