(Tips hat). (Vomits).
Well, on the bright side, this will make it a Q1 win after we beat them next week
@umhoops - hindsight is 20/20 but is it crazy to foul early in that possession - send Hoggard or someone for a 1 and 1 - best case he misses and you hold for one. Worst case down 2 with ball.
How many game winning buzzer beaters does msu have this year?
Yes. Very crazy.
Not an awful idea, no. But one that will get a coach more scrutiny than they’d like
This is Purdue. Best offense in America. Not for the normal squad. Team specific
I think you have to trust your D for one possession.
Fair point. I may back track there then.Team specific for sure.
I thought he got to that.
Well, Sparty winning is annoying but part of me didn’t want to play them when they were desperate, either.
I think back to the Trey days where we played no defense. I think I’d rather control my own destiny and foul to send them to the line. That’s just me though.
Games like this drove me nuts. Let’s see how many ways this defies logic…
- Purdue is #3 in the country in 3pt%…and goes 1-9.
- MSU shoots as well from three as two with anyone and everyone hitting stupid threes today.
- Purdue doesn’t get called for many fouls, but has multiple guys in foul trouble.
- MSU calls TO to draw up the final play. Their backup PG dribbles around aimlessly and takes a step back three from NBA range for his only second half basket.
That was a bad play with bad execution with a bad shot from the wrong guy…and they win. Crazy.
How can reviews possibly take this long
why would there be 0.4 seconds left if he touched the ball after coming out of bounds at 1.4 secs?
I mean that’s probably exactly the guy msu wanted. He’s the guy they want late. For a last second shot it wasn’t bad
That was my thought exactly.
Just got to witness the two worst OOB plays this year from each team. And it took about 10 minutes for them to happen.
Have to find a way to fix the last minute of games
I think this shirt should be included with our subscription for umhoops
It’s weird to me how it’s all about him. March is the month of Izzo. The student section is the Izzone. There is a huge sign in the Breslin concourse talking about Izzo’s accomplishments (so no mention of the 1979 title).
What do they do when he retires?
