Purdues hit 1 three, msu is over 50% from 3, and purdue has 7 more TOs than msu. Yet only a 6 point game?
But they obviously aren’t trying hard.
So much easier on the soul when it’s not your team missing open threes
Well they clearly aren’t trying to hit jump shots
In general I agree with Dylan that effort is more of a symptom than a cause. But I will say that MSU had put in a lot of effort on defense. I know that’s part of their dna, but the way they’ve defended ivy has been overall impressive and part of that is effort at least.
Three-point shooting both ways is the obvious answer for why this game is going the way it went
Good game, Gillis.
I mean, he’s being held down by the shoulder. Not sure how that’s a “good call”, but I may be biased.
Yeah I thought it looked like a lot of contact both ways
Seems to me Hall clearly grabs his shoulder and pulled Gillis into him
Marble hook and hold???
Edey’s got to let the refs know he got held.
And of course Sparty gets the call there. If that’s us there would have been a 10 minute review, a foul call against us plus a tech.
Thought it was really smart for Ivey to go 2 for 1 quick. Too bad he couldn’t finish
Each foul call in the big ten is like an unsolvable existential question
Gotta go to Ivey - they have to double.
This is why your head coach has to beg for displacement calls folks
Wow great win for MSU
Surprised Izzo hasn’t subbed in Keon Coleman right now
Treyvion Williams is my favorite non-UM player. (Geo Baker does not count, since he’s is above the level of “non-UM player”).
So a hook and hold on Marble turns into two free throws he converts…sounds about right in EL.
