Yes probably so on paper, but recent play doesn’t really support a gap between Purdue, Illinois and everyone else. Katz is a genius though–s/

It’s pick your poison with Rutgers. You either defend them straight-up and Geo destroys you, or you do what Illinois did tonight and defend him with a box-and-one and watch his teammates have big nights.

Rutgers is legitimately a good team. I’m legit afraid now because this stretch we have coming up is brutal and what we thought was the easiest team might actually be the biggest hurdle.

Ivey 0-6 with no assists again–1 total in last 3 games. He has to play much better and more rounded if Purdue is to reach its potential.

Yeah, it feels like Painter evolved the offense when he got hot to run more stuff for him and then he got cold and hogged the ball a bit and now they have struggled. Feels like more balance with the post stuff, Ivey stuff, and off ball stuff.
Ivey’s been feeling the weight of expectations lately.
